BioNEST-BHU organized "Incubator Academia Meet" on January 24, 2023. Dr. Ashutosh Pastor, Sr. Manager & Head-Incubation, FITT, IIT Delhi, and Ms. Reema Sahni, Incharge & Sr. Project Manager, i-TTO shared their experience with the interested faculty members, researchers, and innovators of BHU to convert their innovative ideas into products/deployable technologies, and how to transfer those products/technologies for their commercial exploitation. Dr. Ashutosh Pastor discussed about different types of incubation support, and grants available for prototype development and product commercialization. Prof. Anil Kumar Tripathi, Coordinator, BioNEST-BHU & Director, ISC, BHU presided over the session. In his concluding remarks, Prof. Tripathi emphasized translational research and entrepreneurship. Prof. R. P. Sinha, CEO, BioNEST-BHU delivered the welcome note, and Dr. Durgesh Narain Singh, Scientific Officer, BioNEST-BHU presented a brief overview of facilities and ongoing activities in BioNEST-BHU.
