BioNEST-BHU, successfully organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Program on “Aroma and Allied Industries” on 09th January 2026.
The program featured an insightful talk by Dr. Bhakti Vijay Shukla, Assistant Director & In-Charge, Fragrance & Flavour Development Centre (FFDC), Ministry of MSME, Government of India (FFDC Extension Unit, Kanpur). Dr. Shukla highlighted the vast scope, value chains, government support mechanisms, and entrepreneurship opportunities in the aroma and allied industries.
Mr. Ajay Singh, Director, Sri Sai Institute of Rural Development, Basni (Varanasi), shared inspiring perspectives on entrepreneurship in aroma and herbal products as a powerful tool for rural development and livelihood generation.
Dr. Durgesh Narain Singh, Chief Scientific Officer, BioNEST-BHU, discussed the incubation and mentoring support provided by BioNEST-BHU to nurture innovation-driven startups and entrepreneurs in Uttar Pradesh.
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and innovators from Banaras Hindu University and beyond, leading to an engaging and interactive discussion.
